Darky Play is a small collection of free online games that run straight in your browser. There is nothing to install, no account to make and no app store involved — open a game and it starts. Every game works on a phone, a tablet and a computer, with touch controls on small screens and keyboard controls on big ones.

The games are original, but most of them are built on ideas you already know. If you came looking for a pacman game, a snake game, a flappy bird style game, a tic tac toe board or a brick breaker, there is one here.

What you can play

• Builder — a first person block sandbox: mine cubes out of a generated world of grass, stone and trees, and build whatever you like back into it.
• Blue Warrior — a cinematic platformer in the Prince of Persia tradition: measured running jumps, ledge hangs, loose stones, spikes and sword duels.
• Street Beater 1 — a 2D arcade fighting game. Six fighters, special moves and super arts, an arcade ladder or two players on one keyboard.
• Neon Pacman — a pac man style maze chase over 10 levels, with power pellets and ghosts that get fancier as you climb.
• Happy Bird — a flappy bird style tap game. One button, four medals, endless pipes.
• Pro Snake — the classic snake game, the one everyone remembers from old phones.
• Pikachu Breakout — a brick breaker in the arkanoid tradition: bounce, clear, survive.
• Pic Pac Poe — tic tac toe (noughts and crosses) against a computer that sharpens every time you beat it.
• 4096 — a 2048 style sliding puzzle. Merge equal numbers and double your way up to a 4096 tile.
• Fired Space Shooter — a space invaders style shooter with waves and a boss.
• Prime Escape — an endless runner across 10 night-time levels with police on your tail.
• Long Towers — a block stacking game. Every miss slices the tower thinner.
• NBA Stack — basketball badges balanced into a tower that leans when you misjudge it.
• Word Catch — a word search puzzle against the clock.
• IQur — a 60 second maths quiz that scores your speed and accuracy.
• Holepringo — a hole io style eating game. Drag, swallow, grow your score.
• Spyro Taxi — a 3D dodging game. Jump the traffic, keep the run alive.
